Meggan Malone – Vivid Video Girl
LOS ANGELES – (February 6, 2008) – Vivid Entertainment, the leading adult film company, has signed 21-year-old Meggan Mallone, a Texas beauty of Cherokee extraction, to be the newest Vivid Girl.
The former cheerleader at Houston’s Lamar High School is already at work on her first-ever movie for Vivid. Meggan is an outgoing, gorgeous green-eyed brunette who is 5’8′ tall with a slender and athletic body. With her all-American good looks she worked as a mainstream fashion model in Houston before she decided to visit L.A. and was invited to pose for such glamour photographers as Steven Hicks and Earl Miller. She met her agent John Stevens at that time and he showed her photos to Vivid director B. Skow which lead to her being offered a contract with the company.
Meggan’s mother is a full-blooded Cherokee from Oklahoma, who gave her the Indian name “Moonstar.” Meggan says her Irish-German father, who died when she was 18, instilled in her a strong work ethic and taught her to make her own decisions.
Meggan says she had a pretty normal childhood, which included church on Sundays and frequent Girl Scout outings. In addition to being a high school cheerleader she was also on the swim team and a member of the French Club. She worked on the school student-run TV news channel both as a producer and on-air reporter. She intends to take college journalism courses in Los Angeles now that she is living here.
The multi-talented new Vivid Girl had dreams of being a famous ice skater when she was young. “Maybe I could be the first nude, ice skating star in the adult industry,” she joked. “My friends say that I’m bubbly and animated and I think they’re right. I have a lot of energy and love sports and definitely have a positive attitude towards life. I’m certainly excited about being a Vivid Girl and hope to break some of the stereotypes people have about adult stars. I can only say, watch out world, I’m coming!”
Born in Houston, Texas, Mallone is of Cherokee, Irish and German descent. Mallone’s mother, a Cherokee from Oklahoma, gave her the Indian name “Moonstar”. Mallone attended Lamar High School in Houston and worked as a fashion model before signing with Vivid.
She did two internet adult shoots before a photographer introduced her to Vivid Entertainment at the 2008 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. She signed a one-year exclusive contract with Vivid on January 18, 2008. Within a month Mallone teamed up with fellow Vivid girl Briana Banks to appear on stage for a special comedy night that was broadcast on National Lampoon Radio (XM channel 154). Comedians performing that night included Rick Shapiro, from the HBO sitcom Lucky Louie as well as Taylor Negron, Lynn Shawcroft, and Nadine Rajabi. Mallone’s first two movies for Vivid were Strictly Conversation and 20 Questions, directed by Paul Thomas.
Mallone appeared on the cover of the May 2008 AVN as well as the June 2008 cover of Hustler.
